Current transformers (CTs) provide a simple, cost-effective, and accurate method for measuring current flow in SolarEdge energy meters equipped with a Modbus interface. The device is manufactured by SolarEdge, a renowned company with a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality equipment for the solar energy sector. The SECT-SPL-100A-A current transformer is designed to measure current up to 100 amperes at an operating voltage of 600V AC.

A key advantage of this product is its ease of installation; thanks to its split-core design, there is no need to interrupt the electrical circuit or shut down the entire system. Simply open the clamp and attach the transformer directly onto the cable or DIN rail. The split-core technology allows for quick and precise current measurement, even in confined spaces with tightly packed cables or conduits. The device also features galvanic isolation, which protects equipment from damage and enhances operational safety.

We recommend ordering a current transformer whenever you purchase an energy meter.
