The SUN-6K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 is a 6 kW three-phase hybrid inverter designed for use with photovoltaic systems and high-voltage energy storage, offering on-grid, off-grid, and backup operating modes.

Key technical specifications

• Nominal AC power: 6 kW
• Maximum efficiency: 97,6%; European efficiency approx. 97,0%.
• Number of MPPTs: 2; max. DC input voltage up to 1000 V;
• Start-up voltage: PV ~160 V

Battery support and energy management

• High-voltage battery support: battery voltage range (depending on variant) from 96/160 V to 600/700 V; design enables lower charging/discharging losses thanks to the high-voltage system.
• Max. charge/discharge current: 30–37 A (depending on specific variant specifications); multi-stage charging curve and BMS self-adaptation for Li-ion batteries.
• Management functions: support for diesel generator integration (GEN input), smart charging, and backup/UPS modes with short-term overload capability (e.g., 2× rated power for 10 s).

Scalability, I/O, and installation capabilities

• Parallel connection capability: up to 16 units in parallel for on-grid and off-grid system expansion.
• PV inputs and currents: max. DC input power ~7.8 kW; PV input current (typ.) 26+26 A; max. Isc 40+40 A; configurable number of strings per MPPT.

Protection, standards, dimensions, and mounting

• Protection rating: IP65; Cooling: Smart Cooling; noise level

The inverter is available in either the AM2 or DM2 version.
